Invited by Professor Mark Braun of the product design course at HBK Saar in Saarbrücken Germany, the studio hosted the Workshop Colour Profiles.
The briefing was the following:
The appearance of objects and materials can be totally transformed by the application of colour. In this workshop we are investigating the relationship between shape and colour by applying it on wood and aluminium profiles. These profiles can be square, round, solid, hollow... The colour palette can be harmonious complementary... After applying colour the next step is to transform the colour profiles into a three dimensional compositions that could server as inspiration or starting point for a potential product. This will be a hands on workshop in the studio and workshop environment.
