The publication and photo series created for the Transitions project of Baars & Bloemhoff depart from the constructive material sheets that are used by the six participating design studios. The binding of the booklet refers to the characteristics of stacked sheets by folding the spreads on different positions throughout the publication.
Baars & Bloemhoff have collaborated with six talented Dutch designers De Intuïtiefabriek, Lex Pott, Visser & Meijwaard, OS & OOS, Studio Mieke Meijer and Michiel Martens to design a product based on their assortment of interior construction materials. In this project you will find their perspective on materials like wood finer, HI-MACS solid surface and bio-laminates. The group of Dutch designers have collectively worked on raw material translating them into tangible products.
