Febrik is a new Dutch brand of interior textiles founded by Renee Merckx and Jos Pelders. Beginning life as Innofa with a collection of knits, the ambition of Febrik is to show the world a next generation of textiles by re-exploring existing techniques.
The horizontal line is defined as the main graphical element. It adjusts according to the format that is applied, it can be stretched or compressed, repeated and split… The line can be considered as a simplified representation of the knitted textiles feature. The typography is a mix ultra light weights with bold cuts and is placed in Black or White on the different greyish backgrounds that emerge from the palette of the 5 coloured greys. The identity consist of stationary items, textile sample books, website, photography and animations. The lines in the compliment cards and business cards are executed with laser cutting.
The textile sample hook is developed together with Febrik. The website is developed together with Peter Bust.
