Invited by the head of the Graphic Design faculty Kali Nikitas, Raw Color gave a lecture and a three day workshop at the LA based Otis College of Art and Design. During the Otis Design Week 2013 the 10 MA students of the graphic design department worked on posters representing the country that was given to them. The posters should cover the countries character, facts, people, culture, colour, food... simply everything that is part of the national identity.
Next to that every participant got three ingredients that had to be implemented in their design, such as Frame, Underlined, Grid, Center Aligned…
For the execution digital printing was combined with silkscreen and letterpress to add some extra tactility to the designs.
