Dutch Invertuals is a collective of individual designers who are always in search of the limits of their profession. They present pieces that reflect their contemporary viewpoints in images, objects, materials, insights and stories. O' at via Pastrengo 12 in Milan hosts 11 Dutch Invertuals, invited by the curator and founder Wendy Plomp to work on fragility and vulnerability applied to contemporary design.
Dutch Invertuals is a flexible collective of Dutch designers who share an educational background at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and a design approach centred on experimentation, reflection and exploration that tries to push beyond the profession's current boundaries. Every designer has their own studio and career but they meet up for special occasions such as the Fair to reflect, design and develop a common theme.
The show in Milan was the 5th edition of Dutch Invertuals entiteld 'Retouched' with a great group of participants.
